Requirements
Operating in the medical sector, Mectron faces extremely high production standards every day in terms of precision, quality, and traceability. The presence of two very different production lines – devices and inserts – made it necessary to overcome fragmented management in order to achieve total control and real-time visibility over processes, data, and progress. The goal was not only to replace an existing system, but to standardize production management and create a reliable data foundation to support quality, certification, and operational decisions. Thanks to the use of Power Apps, Azure IoT, and Power BI, Mectron has digitized shop-floor activities, integrated machines, and made updated KPIs and dashboards available, accelerating the journey toward data-driven process management.
