About us

Record S.p.A. has been selling and producing horizontal flowpack machines since 1965. Beginning from simple small-scale production of flowpack machines, the company now realizes automatic and complex systems, integrated in the manufacturing processes. Record distinguishes itself on the market thanks to its product quality and the variety of high technological solutions, with an installed base of 7000 flowpack machines, 1000 automatic feeding system for different field of packaging, in particular systems for bakery products.

Needs

Record felt the necessity to have an efficient tool for a precise company and job management. In particular, they required a more integrated system, which gave the possibility to obtain a total real time vision of the warehouse and WIP situation (Work in Progress).

Solution

Eos Solutions has proposed Microsoft Dynamics NAV with Engineering, the ERP vertical solution tailored for make-to-order manufacturers. During the second phase of the project Microsoft Power BI has been introduced.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV has offered a lot of benefits: information precision, operational efficiency, detailed statistics and dynamics.

Administration has obtained advantages for registrations, and it is always on line with scriptures about document issue and chart of account.

Thanks to Vertical Engineering, the technical department has considerably increased its efficiency. Job management Dashboard, has improved the design time and it has allowed to monitor the job in a precise way. They have optimized procurement planning thanks to automatic purchase proposal, bound to job needs and expiration date.

Finally, thanks to Microsoft Power BI, excel dashboard have been created, in this way Record has obtained statistics about turnover, sales, expiration date log book and stock and surplus.
